What is the difference between a branded website and a custom website?

  • A branded website is a choice-approved custom website that was pre-built with your brand in mind. These websites come with the highest standards of design and conversion best practices already built in. You provide us with all your assets and we carefully tailor those assets to fit the choice-approved design.

Your custom website is 100% custom designed. Our designers and copywriters sit down with your property team to fully understand your property’s unique story. Then we translate what we learn into a fully custom design. You’ll be provided at least two design options to choose from.

Should I buy a branded website or a custom website?

  • Does your property have a great story that doesn’t quite fit the mold? Are you looking for something out of the box? Were you inspired by a website you saw? Or do you just want something very specific? If you answered yes, to any of these questions, you’ll want to choose a fully custom website.

Will you rewrite all my website copy?

  • Yes. We’ll migrate all your website copy over to your new website. We’ll polish what needs polishing and add what needs added. You won’t have to write or re-write a word.

What happens if I want to update copy or special offers on my website?

  • That’s what we’re here for. Just call or email your account service team (or you can use our live chat support that’s built into the CMS) and we’ll handle every single change.

Will I be able to make updates to the website myself?

  • Absolutely. You’ll have 24/7 access to your website Content Management System so you’ll always have full control to make updates.

What parts of the website can I edit?

  • Just about anything. You can update Accommodations, Special Offers, Restaurant Menus, Pop Ups & Personalization, Maps & Attractions, SEO Tags, Meta Descriptions and Website Copy.

Will my website be GDPR & CCPA compliant?

  • Yes. Your site is built in full compliance with all GDPR & CCPA regulations.

Will my website be ADA accessible?

  • Yes. Your site is built with ADA best practices and ongoing accessibility monitoring.

Will my website be search engine optimized?

Yes. We have two SEO options.

Your Branded website comes with a base level of SEO.

Your Custom website comes with an upgraded SEO package we call Performance SEO.

What happens to my existing domain name?

  • If you have access to your domain, it’s pretty easy. But it’s very common to misplace and/or not know where to access your domain. Don’t worry. Our onboarding team will help you track it down.

What happens if I can’t regain access to my domain name or don’t have a domain?

  • In the event you’ve lost access or simply don’t have one, we will facilitate the purchase of another domain. But you’ll always retain ownership.

What happens to my existing bookingsuite website?

  • You can download/backup the files of your existing website. Bookingsuite has provided instructions. Click here to view. But downloading/backing up the website is totally up to you. We won’t need that to build your new website.

When do I cancel my Bookingsuite Website Subscription?

Will I have to pay for my new website while I’m paying for my old website?

  • Don’t worry. We’ve got flexible payment options to help you through the transition.

Is there anything I’m forgetting?

  • Nope. We know it’s nerve racking to let go of your old website. But you’re in great hands. We launch websites every single day. And we pride ourselves on doing it right and making things easy. We’ll make sure nothing goes wrong. Promise.

Does your website CMS support multiple languages?

  • Absolutely. 
  • Will you translate my website?

    • Of course we will! We offer automated language translation. It's a one-time fee of $49 per language.

One of our onboarding specialists will reach out to begin the onboarding process.

Absolutely. The onboarding specialist is dedicated entirely to helping you launch your new website. Email them as much as you’d like. :)

No. We’ve tried to make the transition for you as easy as possible. As soon as you sign up, we’ll send you a detailed onboarding checklist that outlines every step of the process and itemizes every single item you’ll need to provide. And if you have any questions at all, your onboarding specialist is available every step of the way.

Sites can launch in 21 business days. This depends on the property’s feedback and approvals.
